Blue Marble

After reading a slightly surreal paper yesterday on the CBD that made repeated references to Martians and how NASA should spend it's money on monitoring our largely unknown Earth rather than looking for a few fossilised cells on Mars I thought i'd post a mosaic image of the Blue Marble that NASA has just completed. The full images of both hemispheres are about 300 megapixels each!
